Airtel Payments Bank brings banking services to over 1650 villages in Chhattisgarh – Times of India

Airtel Payments Bank is increasing its rural footprint in Chhattisgarh. The firm claims to take banking services to unbanked villages in distant areas of the state.
“Over 1650 unbanked villages in the state now have access to formal banking services thanks to Airtel Payments Bank. Majority of the residents of these villages had no bank account or had to travel long distances to reach the nearest bank branch,” claimed the corporate in a press release.
Airtel Payments Bank additionally presents entry to a spread of monetary services like Aadhaar Enabled Payments, insurance coverage and authorities pension schemes throughout the villages itself.
