Tata Sky: Tata Sky partners with Technicolor to move set-top box manufacturing to India – Times of India

Tata Sky has introduced that it plans to shift a good portion of its set-top box sourcing to inside the nation. The DTH participant has partnered with Technicolor to develop set-top packing containers for the Indian market that shall be manufactured and distributed inside India.
The shift in manufacturing and provide chain operations, in accordance to the 2 corporations, will streamline the manufacturing and supply of STBs to shoppers in India, and additional strengthen the longstanding collaboration that has been in place between Technicolor and Tata Sky.
Harit Nagpal, MD & CEO of Tata Sky, stated, “As the world adjusts to the rapid changes emerging due to the recent effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tata Sky and Technicolor Connected Home are realigning production of a group of set-top boxes (STBs) to India by early 2021.”
